Artist's Comments

I started this one last night while talking to my sister, who is also an artist. We both decided to pick a portrait of Milla Jovovich to draw, and finished at the same time. 9"x12", carbon and graphite on paper.

I don't know what is it about your drawings but you always catch such a beautiful/sensual side to whoever you are drawing :) Very realistic. A captivating image

Thank you so much! I keep going back and forth between loving this one, and not liking it so much... Oh, well. Picking the next one. I have made a resolution with myself that I will create drawings, paintings, and portraits and not look back and agonize over every little detail. I tend to obsess over every minuscule thing and then I cannot move on to the new...

Thanks again!

I have had that problem too. I just put all my energy into ignoring it as in the end I don't think it is fair on the work to go back and keep altering it. You're work is always great :)

Yes, as I stated before, I put too much time into something, never regarding it as "finished" , and end up doing more harm than good, and never get around to anything new.

And thank you!
