It's mostly oil based coloured pencil (lyra), with regular coloured pencil (prisma and ticonderoga) mixed in. Thank you so very much! It seems to be taking shape...

yes it is taking shape. Will you leave the background black? How much time do you estimate you've spent so far on it?

I'm not sure what I'll do with the background yet, but I've a couple of ideas that may work. I think I've spent about 6 hours all told so far.
